MACH Basic
The Swiss Readership Study
MACH Basic provides the official currency for print media planning and publisher marketing in Switzerland and Liechtenstein
Description
The national readership study is the central basis of WEMF's MACH research system. It provides valid data on reach and user structures at currency level for around 250 press titles (incl. e-paper) and combinations (newspapers and magazines). It thus supports important strategic decisions.
Since publication 2022-2, MACH Basic has been showing key figures on contact and title qualities (CTQs) at individual title level. The data on reading volume, reading duration, number of pick-ups and title loyalty show how readers use their press titles and how strongly they feel connected to them.
The study is published twice a year (spring and autumn)
